So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. Husband was in a wheelchair and walking/rolling along city streets was easy. Getting a cab was a different story. We used a cab app that allows you to request a wheelchair accessible vehicle and too many times drivers would accept the business but then show up in a WAV but decline to pick us up because they didn’t know how to use their own equipment. We went to see Hamilton (EXCELLENT), we went to Birdland to see Count Basie and his Orchestra (EXCELLENT). We ate about 5 blocks from the hotel at EATALY two times which was very good and great shopping for culinary gifts to bring home. Had dinner at Azaleas near the Theatre district and it was also very good.

I was in New York for a family venue.
I have visited a few times before and always loved my stay.
Look carefully at what you want to do and see in the city and book accommodation accordingly.
One important tip, ‘New York City is very expensive!’

The skyscrapers!
The skyscrapers! The night view of the city lights and seeing the STATUE OF LIBERTY illuminated while cruising the Hudson river. Absolutely breath-taking! A sentimental moment for me was seeing the 911 Memorial, I re-experienced the 911 tragedy all over again.

I.ve been to NYC several other times, but it has been a while since my last trip/visit. My daughter wanted to see/experience NY life and attractions, so that's what we did. Used the Big Bus Tour, red & blue lines, and it was a solid way to see sights and then navigate back to where you wanted to explore. Had a great dinner at Pasta House. Make reservations. And spent most of the day at the Met. Well worth the experience. The addition of Uber/Lyft/et al has made getting around much easier. My biggest surprise was how mind-boggling expensive everything has become. Wow! However much you're saving for your trip, save more. Still, it is worth the trip and the experience. If this will be your only visit, go all in and enjoy everything.

The Wallace is in an excellent location just off Broadway. We walked to the MET through Central Park and used the nearby subway station to access the 1 and 2 lines that go through the theatre district and all way down to the bottom of Manhattan. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but several breakfast and dinner places only meters away. Two of New York’s best food shops are also just around the corner. The hotel is friendly but low key, with new, good sized and very comfortable rooms. I will be recommending it to friends and family.
Location is perfect for everything NYC & Manhattan had to offer. Most major attractions are within easy walking distance. The Subway network is great for anything further afield & with contactless payment meant no time trying to work out what ticket you needed for what at a machine, you just paid once on entry for each journey.
Local restaurants & diners away from the Times Square are generally cheaper and more 'authentic'
The location is great, about 20 minute walk from Times Square. Five-ten minutes walk to subway station. Incredibly comfortable bed, clean room, and the staff very nice and friendly.
Hotel is on the more expensive side, but still one of the cheapest options in Manhattan.
Modern Hotel in the center of Manhattan. Many sights in walking distance (Central Park, Times Square, MoMA), so it's perfect as a base to discover New York. Rooms are large (for New York), modern and clean.
